AIPMV 2024



From July 12 to 14, 2024, the 2024 2nd International Conference on Algorithm, Image Processing and Machine Vision (AIPMV 2024) was successfully held in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province.The conference was hosted by Jiangsu University, the China Society of Image and Graphics, and the Zhenjiang Association for Science and Technology. It was co-organized by the Zhenjiang Computer Society, the School of Computer Science and Communication Engineering at Jiangsu University, and the Digital Entertainment and Intelligent Generation Committee of the China Society of Image and Graphics, and undertaken by Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, the Zhenjiang Software Industry Association, and AEIC Academic Exchange Information Center.

Professor Mao Qirong, Dean of the School of Computer Science and Communication Engineering at Jiangsu University, presided over the opening ceremony. Professor Ren Xudong, Vice President of Jiangsu University, delivered the welcome address. Mr. Bao Rongjun, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Zhenjiang Association for Science and Technology, was invited to give the opening speech.

The conference attracted numerous top scholars and experts from both domestic and international institutions, including Professor Xu Changsheng from the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Professor Gao Zhi from Wuhan University; Professor Ming Dong from Wayne State University, USA; and Professor Maozhen Li from Brunel University London, UK, who delivered keynote speeches. They shared their research findings and experiences, providing inspiration and insights for the attendees and presenting a rich, high-level, international, and forward-looking academic feast.

Held in a hybrid format (online and offline), the conference's agenda featured 4 keynote reports and 12 oral presentations. It brought together over 100 experts, scholars, and industry elites from across the country. They engaged in in-depth dialogues and intellectual exchanges centered on the topics of "algorithm, image processing and machine vision." Participants extensively discussed the latest research hotspots, innovative achievements, and highly insightful application examples in the field. This stimulated deep academic discourse and the exchange of ideas, offering new perspectives and inspiration for future research and practice.
